I’m a firm believer in imagination and the deceptive powers of the placebo. Maybe that’s why I can’t drink coffee after sundown, or hide my displeasure for milk. But I can read the Morse code in raindrops and paint country estates with my sighs. Or perhaps that was yesterday, and today it’s eyelashes, forest overgrowth, and impatient foot tapping.
