A story to tell

Once upon a time there was a story to tell, of woe and strife and the churn. The lonely troll who forgot how to socialize so lived in fear under the bridge. The hungry spider who apologized to all the ants she caught for dinner. The knight who lost his home to war so turned to wandering the lands in search of peace, eventually coming upon a group of men with swords ready outside a cave in which a bear slept halfway through its winter climber and, without knowing why, bidding them not ambush the sleeping bear within.

Once upon a time there was a story to tell, of woe and strife overcome by compassion and balance, the tables turned. A lonely troll who finally grew the courage to speak with passers by in hopes of finding a friend. A hungry spider who found the taste of fruit to her looking. A great bear who woke to find a knight who had hung his sword and shield outside her cave door, ready to guard against would-be attackers.

Once upon a time…
