Beholden unto memory

Oh, what grace commissioned
by that pristine and will-less joy
is harbored among your smiles,
there to lay to root such a forest
unfettered and free, flourishing
as magnetic as youthful allure
worthy of a conqueror’s queen;
to remember such a countenance
is that one unparalleled elation
carved into my every thread
stitched throughout memory,
the myriad treaties of the net
cast into the ocean within me,
the grove whose endless leaves
forever vignette my intuition.
